Hi I was wondering how long it will take for my husband to come to Canada after "Decision was made", "Medical results have been received".

(Sponsorship Application Status) My file:

DECISION MADE

1. We received your application to sponsor "MY HUSBAND NAME" on July 14, 2014.
2. We sent you a letter on September 2, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

(Permanent Residence Application Status) On my husband file:

APPLICATION RECEIVED

1. We received "MY HUSBAND NAME" application for permanent residence on July 14, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received

How long will it take ? Can anyone tell me what happens after this message I received. It's now exact 1 month, no letter was received, only one on September 10th.

Thanks.

It took me 1 month after this point. Each persons application is different though. Be patient, they wont forget about you!

how long it will take for approval will depend on your visa office, so it's best to find the thread specific for that office. every visa office has a different time table, and even slightly different process for each step. once sponsor approval has happened, it's best to expect months of silence from CIC. Generally, CIC will only contact the APPLICANT when they need more information or are ready to issue the visa. some offices send notification or AOR2 confirming the applicant's file has been received. most do not do this.

as for the "letter", most likely that is referring to the email or mailed letter the sponsor received to confirm their eligibility. if the sponsor received one of these, no other letter will be sent.

Did you receive any letter confirming your eligibility to sponsor.
the letter usually states that your spouse application has been transfer to the visa office abroad for proccessing.

We almost have the same timeline..

What is our Visa office? The answer to your question very much depends on this VO information.
And by seeing the applicant part it seems you did not do upfront med but on request of CIC.

It appears as if you have received sponsorship approval and your file has been transferred to the Visa office for your husband. That Visa office has his medical results. It will still be awhile yet depending on the processing times of your husband's Visa office.
