So it's been almost five weeks now since I submitted my husband's sponsorship application and I have not received any email or any confirmation up to this date so the question arises in my head :

What's next ?
Keep waiting ?

It takes an average of 30-60 days before you will hear anything from CIC, as long as you have submitted a complete application. If your app is returned to you for any reason, you won't hear anything about it at all until it shows back up in your mailbox. This wait is just part of the process. If more than 60 days have passed and you haven't heard anything, you can contact them to inquire.

Assume if you mailed in you sent a tracked mail so can at least see was delivered and in the system. After that just have to be patient and wait around 60 days. This will just be the start of many times in an application where you hear nothing.
