Haven't heard from Visa office for a Family class sponsorship

Hello there,

Unsure of what to do, my partner and I have submitted our application for a partner sponsorship while living abroad in Australia (He is Canadian, I'm Australian.)
We paid for the entire thing and it arrived in Sydney, Nova Scotia on May 28th. It's been a little bit more than two months and we haven't heard back. We are unsure of what to do.

Any advice would be appreciated

I submitted my application june 2020 didnt receive aor1 not until dec 2020, its covid times try to be patient.
