Asking for a friend not on here....
Can Ecas show medical results received before being sent to Havana? Or once this has shown, the app is in havana just have not been notified yet?? Thanks!

meds will show received until the application is in Havana for awhile and then that depends on whether the person updates ecas

Sorry I am misunderstanding your comment.
Her situation is, that she has not received SA yet, should be a few days more. But under PR status for her hubby, it says medical results received. She was told this meant it was already in havana.

so if she has received a letter approving her as a sponsor she should also have or will received an email or letter telling her when the application was sent to Havana if not she can call CIC with her file number or client ID and ask. Medical information is computerized so it just means that it has been received by CIC and is attached to the applicant.

Good morning all. I noticed today when checking ecas that the date modified had changed to Dec 15. Anyone else notice that? At least they are doing something lol

Anyone have any news to share? I know a few are having interviews this week and a few others expecting decisions....all the best and sending positive vibes :)

Hi All, does anyone have the address in Havana where police checks can be requested with a 2 day turn around time? In my husband's province they take 45 days....

Thanks all,

The email asked that I bring
1 Correspondence between you and your sponsor (whatever has not been submitted yet)
2 Telephone bills indicating calls between you and your sponsor - Which I do not have (since we talk via imo)
3 Photographs of you and your sponsor together (whatever has not been submitted yet)
4 Evidence of financial support between you and your sponsor (whatever has not been submitted yet)
5 Any other evidence that you would like the immigration officer to consider and that might be useful to demonstrate the genuineness of your relationship with your sponsor.

I never ordered the GCMS notes.

My wife had her interview today. She said it went well. They asked for a new police background check (I had her order one last month). She will get the new police background check next week and return to the embassy. I am hopeful.

I will update as news comes.

Cheers

Best of luck Dude. Hopefully you'll be reunited soon. Did they tell you when they would give you an answer? Do you know what questions were asked?

Sending positive vibes to you :)

Anyone can tell me how long it took to be approved as sponsor? They recieved November 6th. I got an email December 30th 2015 saying they are reviewing my application. I thought it took 10 days...... Or is it listed in business days? I haven't heard anything..... It says on line 63 days it's been close to 70 now should I contact them?

63 days seems about right usually you are notified by letter that you are approved as a sponsor. You can call CIC and ask they may beable to tell not sure about that without a client ID so I would have my receipt number that might help. Good Luck

If you take a look at my timeline mine took a long time for me to get SA...4 months to get AOR and SA a couple days after that I think it was. and I never found out why. I'm convinced that they misplaced my file somewhere lol. In my case nothing was really done in order :/ but in our case as soon as it got transferred to havana things went super fast.

Hey everyone! Just got back from Cuba and a week with hubby. It's nice to see that Havana is moving
Interviews being scheduled for January and now starting on February. As per my knowledge these interviews are being scheduled at the ten month mark which I hope remains the case instead of the 17 months advertised on the cic website. Looking for the good in the bad of the situation.

Did anybody get any news this week? my file has been in Havana for over 10 months...i'm still waiting for word on an interview date :(

Woo hoo! i just got the date for the interview Feb 1st!!!
