Well tomorrow is ten months and have not heard a thing!! I emailed them today and they have not responded yet. Usually they respond within an hour!!
If your application was in Havana on November 26 or 27, then this weekend is 10 months, meaning they'll respond as if to a "slow" application on Monday. Officially, the application isn't overdue until a year after they receive it. It's just that 80% of the cases take 10 months or less. Unfortunately, you are in that last 20%. Have you requested your GCMS notes at all?
Generally, it takes a month delay if they want your RPRF and it's not been processed before. However, you are in the end-game now. In our case, they asked for a new housing form on August 21 and we received the DM today, so 5 working weeks later.
Try to focus on your date of travel rather than the totally unknown date of when CIC will move on.
