Hi KJG. Roughly how long does it take to get the PRE for hubby? Wondering if hubby and I should wait and see to get the PRE or not if they decide to abolish it January 13th 2013? :

6 weeks today and no AOR from Havana nor does it show in process on ECAS. When do you receive an AOR from Havana or when does it show it in process on ECAS after you get the visa lol? ??? : lol

Hey, it never shows on ecas in process. Some do get the AOR and some do not. Some get it even after an interview date. It is about 3 weeks to 4 weeks to have file transfered to Havana. Therefore if your 6 weeks is since approval it could only have been in Havana right now as of 3 weeks or 2 weeks only. I have seen it be 2.5 to 3 months but I have seen it also take 5 months and some even pass the DND date. There is no way of knowing

Wow that is a very sad situation. It is a good lesson for all of us....and for spouses...make sure to pay attention when we talk about ourselves : )

that is exactly the problem....they had so little time together that alot of this stuff wasn't even talked about......and of course they had no idea that immigration would expect him to know her life story so to speak.....

you can not pre-apply for a PRE...so don't even worry about it at this stage but every province is different....apparently Matanzas is a fast one...I guess we will find out.....some of the more eastern provinces Camguey, Holguin take a lot longer

Wow so 3 ppl at the start of October have received their Stage 1 AORs and 2 have received the Approval!

I know it is crazy.......the only down side to fast approvals is that all the files get stockpiled in Havana so hopefully that does not happen....!!!

Ya i am thinking the same. I have a feeling Havana has been quick as CIC in Canada have been back logged giving Havana the chance to get things done however now that CIC is back on track (for now) Havana might suffer for that!

Hey Ladies!! Great Monday! Got the job with VON. Told the truth and to go to the interview AND go back to fly with him!! Both for a week. Even if it falls during the month orientation. Maybe my stress for my work life ends here, and routine has been accompolished!! Also landed the hubby a job when he get's here!! YAY! I'll keep spending now! haha

But seriously folks, thank you for putting up with my dark days!!! I think they have passed!

When does shuster come back, all I need is to hear her good news after luvcubas good news, and the week will be off to a FANTASTIC start !!!

Yep...getting ready for the hubby....started sleeping on the other side of the bed last night in anticipation!!!! But heaven help me my son called today and says he might have to move home and I said just remember Yoani is coming he goes I know...but....I said fine ,but man I am going to be surrounded by testosterone....my husband...a moody 17 year old and a 20 year old.....yikes!!!!
