Did they ask for the criminal check or did you just give it to them?

Emailed them on sept 9th when I was in Cuba that it was about to expire Sept 15th. I was only staying there till the 13th and they emailed me back they needed a new one.

You welcome. So that you know when your criminal check is coming due to expire almost in two months make sure you make a new criminal check because as you know they take usually 1 month to do. As well immigration will purposely let it expire if your coming close to the due date. Prepare yourself.

We applied in October 2015, the application arrived in Havana January 2016. Interview - August 2nd.

We asked twice for the GCMS notes, they were saying in the notes "recommended interview to be waived", but we got the interview... This Tuesday my wife went to the embassy and was told that the file is completed, and she should get the call soon... the call came today.

Ok great!!! What town is your wife from? I am thinking whether we should go as well.. We have exactly the same timeline as you.

She is from Havana.

On September 22nd got email from immigration to go to Havana for visa issuance on September 28th. Booked flight for hubby October 5th.
