My husband has a good amount of clothes considering he's cuban! I already bought extra storage boxes to keep winter/summer clothes and shoes (im a shoe maniac.....
Its funny my friends were JUST saying that they wanted to all chip in and buy leonel a really, really good winter jacket, like the warmest you could get! He'll be "one of those" with the tuque, the scarf, the gloves... etc... lol
You guys know what i think about that will be probably the worst part? You know when you step off the plane in the winter here, and you cross that little tiny crack along the plane and the landing walking place?? Do you know how terrible that'll be for them?? LOL
Through a friend....my best friend is married to a Cuban and the three of us were staying at a hotel in varadero and there was a bunch of us the beach....me, my friend, her husband, his cousin and a couple of other friends and Yoani went walking by and my friend's husband gives him a whistle and waves him over and the rest was history.......LOL.....had been going to Cuba for years and always had fun but swore I would not get involved in a long distance relationship.......but then bam.....he hit me between the eyes......so since meeting Yoani I have taken "never" out of my vocabulary.......I have broken too many "nevers" with him.... ;DAvana said:ME TOOO for purses!! lol i still have a suitcase full somewhere from my move last year that ive been planning to bring to cuba and give a lot of them away now!!

hahaha....me exactly Avana....never to a long distance relationship....never to a cuban...never get married again.....LOL......yes girlfriends are the best source of comfort these days....and luckily for me my best friend is married to a cuban so of course we can talk the night away....and I have met two other girls married to cubans who don't live far from me and we try and get together as well.......my family is awesome and supportive and so are my friends but as you know it is hard to discuss with them the stress of this process....how it feels to be apart....etc. so I have been blessed with meeting some great people to help get over this time....Avana said:Wow, what a wonderful story!! Just a little question... anybody know if Havana is slower at processing PR`s if my husband didnt put his email address on the forms? He just told me (maybe I knew when we did it but forgot...) that he didn't put the e-mail address because it's technically not his. Belongs to a radio station which in turn belongs to the govt... so he didnt want to have any problems (although im sure he wouldnt have been the first person in cuba borrowing someone else's email).
Will it take longer to contact by phone as opposed to e-mailing him? whether regarding PPR or Interview?
