I have read that some are quite short lasting only 5-10 minutes with 2-3 questions. Others a little longer. As far as time is concerned, keep in mind it is Cuba, so you are on "Cuban Time" lol

Hang in there Galano, I'm sure you will hear shortly. Keep us posted...sending positive vibes your way!!!! :D

Thank you It was at 2pm but there is only one person doing them and it is only 4.30 there so I am being a little impatient

Most of interviews take long with a lot of questions. check other threads you will see the type of questions asked.but most of them is to understand connections between both of you if they are real! I believe your husband will update you immediately once he get out.

Wait, the processing times just jumped from 18 to 26 months?!?
I REALLY REALLY hope it's a mistake or smth...!!!!

It seems so... Keep in mind this is including the Canadian processing time. But I'm not sure that CIC websiteade some.changes and doesn't have that country chart anymore!! Be sure to sign the petition above that Galano posted!

GALANNNOOOO.... WHAT DID THEY SAY? HOW DID IT GO?

I just checked it out and yes it did jump from 18 to 26...this is just getting ridiculous...I hope this is a glitch in the system.

No word from my husband yet his cell is off so I gather he is on the bus back to Holguin. If he passed the interview they were giving him papers for new medical so he may have made the apt and the bus left at 7.45pm

I'm pretty sure US processing times were close to 26 months already...keep in mind that Cuba is the shortest processing time. Don't let it freak u out

How can you not freak out over this???? The whole process goes from one year to 18 months then to 26 months? ?? This is our lives we are dealing with. Will need to pay for medicals and police checks long distance vacations. There has to be some compassion from the govt.

As much as I try to remain positive (or what's left or it) I can't help but think that 'legally' it can take as long as 26 months. Especially since I'm getting close to 11 months since file's in Havana and not a word yet.

Just spoke to my husband he said they would let him know in a week or so if he passed is this normal ? He is so upset and so am I. Does anyone know what this means?
