I had a question, I logged on this morning into my Ecas (i think that is what you call it) to check the webiste and to my suprise it shows on hubby's side IN PROCESS since December 10th. I asked a couple of friends however no one had this before. I know what in process means but what does this really mean lol a call soon not soon enough?? I just would like some insight from anyone's past experiences. thank you.

Mine says in process too as of Dec 7.... we are so close ppsandy79!! i don't think anyone has had thiers change before being called for interview. They must have told Havana to smarten up and do thier job!!

Seems like youre both so very close to getting the big phone call!! Congratulations!! My ECAS never went into process, just straight from application received to the date of the interview! Congrats on leaving so soon DDG! Keeping my fingers crossed for you for the interview before you leave! Im leaving in 5.5 days now and cant wait to be reunited with hubby! Its only been 2 months since ive seen him and were already both struggling, so kudos to those of you who have made it so much longer apart! Then our interview is 10 days from todayyy!! AHHHHHH!! SO excited/nervous, but I just know everything will go well! Has to!! Really REALLY hoping visa is issued same day or the thursday, and then the next time you guys hear from me we should be home together!

Sassy, I will most defs pass by to give you some news as of the 4th (we would land super late). Bought welcome home banners today that I will put up before leaving with the hopes that it will all go down while were there. Hope you and baby are well!

OMG!!! My doctor just fucked up royaly. She faxed the letter I wanted for the interview straight to Havana today, used my maiden name, and said in the letter I'm waiting for my Visa to join my husbnad, and that I've been only just given the go ahead to travel since September. I called freaking about the errors and she is so sorry and wants to correct it, she told me to draft a correction letter that I want sent via fax or email to her to write. She said she would tell them anything I want , like she knows we are genuine, has known of our realtionship, that we've been trying to concieve... etc etc OMG.... is this really happening??? What do I do? Is this going to prolong our processing??

I'm soo angry. I never told them to send it to Havana. They looked up the fax and address on thier own and didnt even let me see the letter before it was sent. I have grounds to sue for breach of confidentiality, dr told me that herself and would settle out of court, but that she could not see me as a patient if I chose this, and shes the best fertility dr east of montreal..... omg omg omg freaking out.

Hi DDG-

Sorry, im not sure what youre worried about, the fact that she faxed the letter, or what was inside the letter? Sending them faxes is probably not a great idea, but I dont think it could have such negative repercussions. Did she include your UCI and File number? If not it may not even get matched up. At this point I wouldnt send them any more faxes unless it's requested, because at some point they may delay it. I think if they do now it will be minor, and probably not at all. Youre still right on track to getting the phone call, I would say that if you have not heard anything from Havana by the time youre ready to come back maybe send them an email explaining that what your doctor did was a mistake and if they need any more information to contact you directly. My guess is you will hear from them for an interview while youre there anyways though.

Dont worry bout it too much. I sent Havana an email when there was something funny in my notes saying a form was missing (that definitely was not). I emailed asking if they would like another copy of this form and I never heard back, but we got the call for interview the following week, so defs no major delays there.

Okay, now I can breathe and enjoy the fact that today I became an aunt!

Thanks Avana, no, no file number or UCI number. And she used my maiden name not my married name. Hubby wants her to send the correct information. He wants to have her just send an email stating she sent the fax in error and that I did not request anything to be sent to Havana, that we were requsting the information for our own records for future inquiries if they had any. She said she would add that she hopes she did not delay our process times as I have been living with much stress and need to be reunited with my husband as quickly as possible and that she has known of our relationship for 2 years, and have been trying to conceive for 1 year. You think that's a good idea?

The letter just says I've been a patient of hers since 2003, and that she has been seeing me in clinic for infertility issues since Sept. Next line says, I wants to join my husband in Cuba and is waiting for MY Visa. Next line says: She has recieved my lab reports and she has been given the go ahead to travel.

Do you think I should allow her to retract that?? I can't believe this happened.

Thats is great news. Is the first step of many to come, and it gets more and more exciting and frusterating as the time draws closer to the end.... but none the less, this is a very big step and is your application date!! Congrats on being an Auntie too!! Very big day for you! God Bless to the little one!

Hi Everyone.... I have been so busy getting ready to go!! Monday morning is finally arriving!! It's been 7 months since I seen my better half. I feel nervous to see him it's been so long haha....I always hate the peering in the windows, watching me struggle with mountain of luggage too heavy for a woman...lol it's so welcoming there isn't it... :-[ haha arrriving and going in the country is by far the worst part of this entire process and travels...

I am getting sooooo anxious for the call from Havana. I want sooo much to have it soon, and pray the interview is before I come home Jan 13. I am sooooo tired of this life really... it's so stressful not knowing when things are going to happen. Everyone please pray I get that call and it happens. Prayer in numbers is powerful!!

***Happy*** Sunday*** everyone*** :-* ((((Hugs))) BMI I have been working alot, getting paperwork ready for hubby's interview and trying to get ready for Christmas. I am hanging in there lol. I cannot go to Cuba for Christmas :'( I can't get the time off work and funds are low now. Hopefully hubby will get his visa next month.Interview day would be awesome but not getting my hopes up.
