Mississauga stated that I had photos missing and Havana never commented on it.
Give it another week and then order.
If there is no note that they have issues you AOR from Havana, then I believe that they haven't investigated your file yet.

shuster2210 you are right.....they only issue the AOR when they start working on the file. Alot of people think an AOR is issued when it lands in Havana. Simply not true. Did your notes state your AOR?

I understand that nothing is for sure and that you can't base your timeline on someone else, but I think everyone's timeline (here anyways) has been similar in several ways. For me it is helpful to have something to look forward to and hope for rather than being left entirely in the unknown. Without other people's information and support here, I feel like I would be far worse off, and the more data that is added and kept score of, the more accurate the data will be, since it will be a truer average.

agreed if that is the way it could make you feel better about things, everyone deals differently i rather not drive myself crazy with everyone's timelines. yes it is a great indication however then i scratch my head and wonder how older couples, with multiple mariages get a answer so much faster than in my case first time mariage for both, young couple with no kids both. I guess i try to stay grounded as i have two personal friends both in the same category as my husband and I, one got competely refused and the other had her file in havana for a long 7 months. So i threw up both hands up in the air and say i have no control of havana and I ask God to protect hubby and I and when hubby asks me when do you think they will call? I say who knows but make sure your ready for that interview if any :p

Another week has passed. Things have slowed down for us haven't they? Well I am hopeful that there will be movement for you ladies soon. I just had a chance to read through the stress that AVANA is going through sheeesh! How annoying! I was happy when I got to the part about you having the backup copy from Hubby. I shake my head at the things these cic workers miss (shusters military date...avana's form etc) anyways I guess that is why we have this forum to track what is normal and remind us that indeed we do need to be keeping an eye on the process. Imagine you just left the process to itself and never worried or checked on things....

To answer your question Avana, no approval or AOR yet. I do not care anymore...they are working on apps until 1 day before mine....so by next wed surely they will update that they have moved at least 1 day and I can call. I see tons of approvals on the FB group of people getting their AOR's in the last few days....so mine will come...
Both of these forums (here and FB) have been great place for positive support. I truly try to be optamistic for everyone on here....but I have now read in a couple places *(here and *FB again) people who speculate or wonder why their situation doesn't move them faster or why one situation should get a visa over the other. Old or young kids or no kids married before or not, currently pregnant or not. Not one of us deserves to move before the other in this process. And the situation we are all facing is equally stressful. It does not matter how long you have been with your spouse before you entered the process it sucks for everyone. So I suggest we be careful of what we say here and keep it supportive and non judgemental : ) I say this with love and respect for each of you!!

On another, how is everyone else feeling? KJG whats the latest with hubby?....Shuster....whats the latest on the exit visa? ppsandy....did you have a great birthday? find a way to celebrate big stylz? DDG....are you excited about the new job and the big changes coming your way? Everyone else? tell me something positve lol

POSITIVITY is surely what I need right now! I've just been sitting back waiting my turn. My husand is confident about the Minister's promise to help his liberation move quickly. They have him writing papers, training manuals and education cirriculum to leave behind. It is why he is confident the minister is letting him go....I'm assuming my app has been sitting in Havana now for 2 weeks. I still need to pay the 490 I *beeeeep*ed up on! See Avana, we've all made mistakes along the way... so glad you had a copy anyway!! I'm paying my fee next friday, can I have some advice if I should do it at the bank, or online. My rep has the receipt for paying at the bank, but would online be faster? I've just heard people having problems with this payment.

I agree with you sassy about the comments about who's been married before, or has an age difference, or has kids............. I was down right offended bc I have all of them things haha. Nothing should move any faster than it was recieved nomatter the circumstance. In fact, if there was an acceptable circumstance, maybe it is for the birth of a baby as in sassy's case, or maybe it was for my husband to be here to meet my Grandmother before she died 3 months ago or for anyone else who has something going on in thier lives that they need and want thier husband for. Situations are different, emotions are the same.....we all want our husband here and noone is no more deserving than the other...

I think this place is a great way to compare notes, time lines...it's gives us a grasp as to what's going on in that office. We can sense a date to start inquiring and not be considered 'pestering'...I'm totally 100% with Avana on that one!! Actually, I think this is why we are all here. I'm certainly not here in an immigration forum to talk about the weather unless it's Cuba weather haha!

Also i wanted to mention sassylassie, i myself saw my date on the CIC go by with receiving no approval. I picked up the phone and called CIC and they they sad it can take up to 2 weeks after that actual date to receive your approval. I got mine a week after ;D thought you might want to know this!

OH MY i was not trying to offend no one. I SWEAR. I just wanted to show that NOTHING matters to Havana!!!!!! All we can pray for in the end is a very happy outcome for all! I would give my place to any pregnant woman as that for me is the number one situation where I think hubby should get that VISA fast!!! rapidooo!

Hi Ladies.....lots going on here tonite.....but everyone seems to be in a good frame of mind and that is awesome...it is so very hard to be a cheerleader for everyone else when you continue to wait...but honestly it will come back to you 10 fold for sure!!! I think we will see some movement....alot a movement before the end of November so hang on ladies.....files will want to be completed before Christmas!!!! But the one thing I have learned on this forum and the fb page is that every file is unique in Havana.....whether you think it is straigt forward or not they have their own measuring tools......and like CIC....I think alot depends on the agent who gets your file...you know how when you go to the grocery store you think you are in the good line and uffff.....yeah turns out you got the suckiest one.....same with agents except we don't have control over the one we pick!!!

So tonite took my husband out for sushi...the all you can eat.....and boy did we eat...and then....god forgive me......I dragged him to Breaking Dawn Part 2.......he is not a fan.....but he enjoyed it on the big screen....special effects were better and it was good...amazed at the size of popcorn bags people had and the drinks!!! I of course loved the movie!!!!

After the movie we went to National Sports midnight madness sale and scored an awesome winter jacket on sale for half-price and some winter gloves and another toque!!! So he will now be warm.....or so he thinks......I will let him find out that sometimes you just can't be warm!!! :p

Tomorrow we are off to Ottawa and visit my daughter and her fiance for the weekend. If nice enough will tour outside at the Parliament Buidlings and possibly do a musuem or two.....depends what they have planned for us!!!

Have a good weekend everyone and I will see you Sunday night!!!!!
