I know!! I swear Im not a stupid person, I was just so overwhelmed with papers at the time, and had so many i didnt think to keep a double of everything. just wanted it OUT OF THE HOUSE! lol But I have my copies on computer, and he has his, so were good. we got it all!

I would wait a little while for them to email you or hubby regarding this form like they did for us.
Our info was not missing, I found the original and the dates were all there.

And I got the same generic reply when I had to respond to them. Don't worry.

Thanks Shuster! I know the form was not missing for us either... And it confirmed it when we found it all filled out. Anyhoo, I sent a polite e-mail letting them know that the notes mentioned this form not being there and we'd be happy to resend it. Wasnt demanding or angry in the least bit. Now just wait and see i guess! Thanks for the support ladies!

We got an email requesting doc on the 24th of October.
I sent I back same day
Received call from the embassy on the 29th.
Visa issues Nov 1st.

Gcsm notes showed the file was completed and interview waived on the 24th pending receiving the missing data.

Ladies on a funny note.....was in town with Yoani and a city bus went by and it was being driven by a woman......Yoani could not believe it...he stopped and paused me as we were walking and said is that a woman....I said yes...he goes she's driving a bus.....I said yes he goes....not in Cuba ever...sometimes women drive but never anything like that!!! The astonishment on his face was priceless...

If you have a use of representative form you will have to include that I believe......and of course your receipt for the $5.00. I would not request your file notes until 2 months have passed.........so if your file has been since the end of October in Havana then I would request right after the new year.........

thanks Shuster! Did the give you a specific day for him to pick up the visa or was it at his earliest convenience? At this point Im worried that thie misplaced form will cause us some major delays... They cant even assess our relationship without this one! Theres plenty of other evidence in there with cover pages and the like, but Im worried anyways.... My dream of a landing date in January seems to be evaporating pretty quickly...

Avana, do not give up and most of all do not compare yourself to anyone. I know on this form things have been moving fast however i know other people that it did take 4 and 5 months in Havana and some need to get the MIP involved. I swear I hope it is fast for you but DND 6 months means 6 months......with CIC being on track now I do not see Havana being able to keep up now. Sorry my opinion. Just tell yourself I am almost at the end

I know I was going crazy too, and my 1st set of gcsm notes were empty, except Mississauga said we were missing passport photos and info which we weren't.
Havana seems to be sitting on the files for awhile, then once they open them it's like BAM!
I was just lucky that I started checking hubbies email like 5 times a day and found their request for info.
They sent that on the 24th
When they called the 29th, I was there, but we were busy with some religious things and at first they wanted him to come on the 1st. My mother in law told them that he couldn't make it that day.
She called me to the house and told me (I lost my mind lol) the embassy then told her that he could come the following week, the 8th, but they would call back to confirm
So I called back the embassy, then they called me back a few hours (12 cafecitos and about 15 smokes later for me) later and I told them that he would be there on the 1st at 830am.
Looks like visa drop off is at 830am on Thursdays.
My friends parents were there the same time as my husband to drop of their passports for the visa, their interview was 2 days before.

Havana is gonna do what they are gonna do, I think so far we have all been lucky because the files have been taking so long here, that they are not backing up in Havana. And yes, like KJG said, from the minute we got a request for more info, to the minute he got the visa was crazy fast....still can't believe it.

Was it Havana or Mississauga that stated you had missing info?
Any other notes from the visa officer at the bottom?
Have the other checks been listed as completed?

When my file was transferred processing times here werent this fast, so hopefully I wont end up in a pile somewhere! It was mississauga that said it was missing! which makes no sense at all! no other notes. only check that says complete is medical, everything else says not started! Im thinking of ordering another batch on monday! what do you guys think?

Well that report is 30 days old.......and for $5 why not.....LOL......at least you can see if there was movement on the file...and Thursday seems to be visa day....our interview was Thursday at 9:00am and picked up the visa in the afternoon......

And your are right the closer you get to the end the harder it is....and as my husband told me over and over again....baby time does not stop......it is okay........although I swore a few times we went back in time....LOL.....
