You still have to apply for police clearance in Malaysia and receive a letter from them that they can’t provide a police certificate for himMy husband who is living in Sri Lanka was requested to provide Malaysia police certificate today. He was a worker in malaysia for only 6 months in 2011. He is now back in Sri Lanka. From what I’m read online, Malaysian police certificates are only given if you lived there for one year or more. It says that if you are requested for a police certificate and you lived there less than one year, then we must write “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Malaysia because certificates are only available to people who have lived in Malaysia for one year or more.” My question is do we just simply write this to IRCC or do we still have to apply for police clearance in Malaysia and receive a letter from them that they can’t provide a police certificate for him? Please help
Are you sure? The website clearly states they can’t provide if he hasn’t lived there for more than a year. In the case that We still have to apply, How do We do that? You still have to apply for police clearance in Malaysia and receive a letter from them that they can’t provide a police certificate for him
You can try applying and whatever response you get , plz upload to IRCCAre you sure? The website clearly states they can’t provide if he hasn’t lived there for more than a year. In the case that We still have to apply, How do We do that?
I think you should get an official letter from Malaysian authorities. I didnt know about the rule that only ppl who lived in Malayaisa for 1yr, get the PCC.My husband who is living in Sri Lanka was requested to provide Malaysia police certificate today. Well not that I know of. They made ours within 2 weeks though. Search on forum regarding PCC & you might get help from the experts. In case u dont receive it within 30days, upload the receipt of application, as a proof that you did apply for Malaysian Certificate of good conduct but the delay is at their end. ButHi Guys,
I recently applied for my Canadian PR with my wife. I have previously studied in Malaysia and the IRCC has asked me to get a police clearance certificate from Malaysia within 30 days. I have already process my request through the Malaysian embassy's website but it is still in process and I am running out of time. It says that it takes 1-2 months to get it. Any leads on how long it takes?? also, Is there any way to speed up this process??
Thanks in advance,
cheers,
Hadi
Hi,People who applied online for Malaysian PCC, did you face issues registering at the e-konsular website? I'm getting an error that my 'text verification is incorrect'.. it seems like a small problem but I can't move forward without it! Any help is greatly appreciated.
You can call them and inform about ready for collection, they will ask you to visit the next day.Hi,
My wife submitted the Malaysian PCC application on the 4th of Nov. and the status changed to Ready for Collection on the 7th of Nov.
My question is, can we get the PCC from a Malaysian Embassy right away or does it take more time?
