I have applied on 9 July in Jalandhar and got recieving msg on 10 th from Chandigarh visa office

I applied July 23rd and my visa was granted on Aug 4. However, my case should not be used as a benchmark for all cases, as I am sure processing times vary across VAC. Nonetheless, I was pretty confident my application would be denied, but was fortunate to receive multiple entry for 3 years. Seems like VO's aren't as callous as I perceived. Hang in there and have some faith! Goodluck!

I applied at Chandigarh consulate, paper application.

I applied July 17th, in Canada. Nothing yet. Processing time is a long time, have to travel very soon. Hope they speed the heck up! I'm in a bit of panic mode right now actually.
