Has any one appliled for a vistors visa after sponsering them for PR

Yes some people have had luck. The main thing to convince the IO is that she/he will return to their country. It may be best to wait until your application is with the embassy in their country, you recieve your AOR letter and note this on the visa request. It's obvious that you would want to return as it's the only way to get PR anyhow! If she/he has travel experience and comes from a country that requires visa, I think it improves your chances.
