@swan0206 Yes I don’t live near the border and would have to fly out tomorrow if I were to make it a soft landing before my Copr expired tomorrow. It looks quite difficult to pull all this off at last moments notice.
What do you suggest ?

Also How many days after Copr expiry Would CBSA border still allow me to do a soft landing you think ? Have you seen any cases were ppl were able to do soft landing successfully even after a week or month of Copr expiry ?

@swan0206
Do you suggest I try attempting to soft-land this weekend at the Canadian border even though my Copr expired today? It gives me some time to gather my documents and do some of the stuff you mentioned above?

You can give it a try. Be prepared for whatever the outcome may be. Wishing you good luck

I spoke to an office at CBSA and was told I could come to do the soft landing even though the COPR visa on my passport expired but he said the copr document itself should not expire. What does that mean? What expiry date do I need to look at to see if my copy document it seld has expired?
Currently, on my application on the online portal, I see an expired document value on the copr.

i believe you need to look at "Valid to" date in your CoPR. He meant, you would have been given a one time entry Visa on your Passport right, that can be expired but not the "Valid to" date on your CoPR.

ok. Request them for extension. Give them some strong reason. But not related to your US immigration. They might not think that as a valid reason as they are not concerned about that. Reach out to some attorneys here in Canada, if they can suggest something. Nothing else i can think of right now.
