Congratulations to all who got their nominations. Nice to see so many people getting nominated. I applied in July 09 and still awaiting file#. Did anyone recently get their file #, and if so which month was the initial application sent to the AINP?

Thank you.

Hi venks,

It's kind of hard to say whether we need to list deceased parents on IMM 5406. But when I was filling this form, my lawyer gave me some choices to fill "Marital status" boxes on this form. The choices were "Never married" "Married" "Widowed" "Legally separated" "Anulled marriage" "Divorced" "Common-law" "Separated-in-fact" or "Deceased." Based on this, I believe we should provide our parents' details even if they were deceased and write "Deceased" in Marital status box. This is just what I understand from the instruction I got from my lawyer, so someone in the forum may have better idea on this.

And we have to provide 4 photos of each family member, just like applicant's photo (all the family members we list on Page 2 of IMM 0008 Generic form, which has space for photo). And we have to write family member's name and date of birth on the back of the photo.

Hope this is useful. Good Luck!

But in my nomination they given the 6 months expiration date.Just thought to share the information with you.

Hi venks,

I think my message was confusing at the time. I'm sorry. The fact is nomination certificate is valid for 6 months as you mentioned (I think I confused you with the validity of PCCs, which is 3 months). For example, the approval date of my nomination was Nov 23, 2009, so I must submit my CIC application to Buffalo by May 22, 2010.

Just wondering if anyone has received document request lately?

Thx

Howdy,

I got my nomination on November the 30th, and I am on the process of getting my PCC. I would like to know if anyone on this forum got the PCC from Mexico, specially the one required from the PGR. What is the process to get it? Do we have to go over there to obtain it? I read on the website of Canada that they will give us more details later during the process, but I want to be proactive and get it as soon as possible.

Any comment will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I know all you guys are astep ahead. but here I am having a peculiar situation.
I applied my AIPNP application in the month of April 14 2009.
Along with me 3 of my friend applied.

In the Month of the July I received the File No. And my friends received the after two months ie the file number.

After 5 all of my three friends received their nomination from Alberta Immigration. and Till now I did not.

I am unable to understand why I am unable to receive it.

When I changed my address I updateds in usps and also sent an email to them notifying the change of the address. I got reply from them saying that address change will matched to my application.

Please could sombody can throw some light on this Please
