Yes ! volunteer work is very important for people who don't have a job but if someone has a paid work so that's great ! in this case volunteer will be a another good argument for him for establishment but not too necessary

Yep you’re absolutely right but think about it we are in pandemic nowadays They don’t care about voluntary work before they care for example what kind of person he/she is
he/she useful for community for Canada he does voluntary work
this is how do you see it
You have to see an officer point of view not whatever people say
Now do they see it that this guy has a job is he working even though he’s working he doesn’t have a work permit but he’s supporting himself and Paying Texas
It shows he’s responsible and supportive

Yeah I feel you I was like that one day I gave up I said f*** it I’m not gonna check anything I’m not gonna do anything bomb I got a response exemption little after few weeks later I got copier then PR
The only thing I’m thinking my process was faster because they request everything before exemption I sent all my financials Pr photos medical for me and my husband our background from every country more than six months we lives RCMP check everything

Hi everyone I am new to this forum .our timeline. December 2019 applied h and c application. February 2020 done biometry . March 2021 got 1st stage approval . June RPRF paid and send my passport copy and file number of my Partner passport ( In renewal process).Can someone advised i m not working because taking care of my kid. And my partner is still looking for a work . Officer didn’t ask yet the paystubs and job letter. Is that ok if officer ask we just submit the bank statements as we have enough money to support themselves.is application refused if not working now. Please if someone can help. Thank you in advance.

As long as you don’t get welfare or any assistance from Government then you’re fine if they ask you or they call you tell them that your husband between of the jobs because of pandemic he lost his job he’s looking for a job that’s so simple soon your PR’s on the way it’s coming

Do you have any proofs of your work with this charity or not? Are you a Volunteer member ? If yes you can send a proof that you are volunteer member and you have an engagement with them

My problem is not to find another center to help. My problems is that with the schools open and closing I had to stay at home with my child. I sent some photos of me when I was able to help but I couldn’t keep helping.

He doesn’t need to do voluntary work because voluntary work was before pandemic now if he’s working and paying taxes that’s important that’s all they count now They don’t care about voluntary works anymore
No this is like if he’s essential worker if he’s grocery workers Uber driver or helping other people helping with grocery and etc.
All he needs just get a letter from neighbors and say like that he helped them during pandemic that’s it

Immigration unpredictable they work different ways like some people get very quick response in the first stage but second stage takes little bit time and some people get a response late in the first stage but the second stage is very fast!
All I’m saying just be patient
first or second stage as long you get a positive answer that’s important thing
