Previously was on visitor status applied for work permit on February 7th 2019, Approved on October 1st 2020 (Yes you got it right after 20 months)

Grounds: Best interest of child (Canadian born) with some medical condition, NO establishment in Canada

If someone have any questions please do ask, we are in Alberta (email of approval came from TORONTO)

Our case was process with 1 of the top 5 lawyers of Calgary

Hi congratulations futurd canadian ! can i know how you got your work permit when you was a visitor ? you found a job ? and you was just visitor or you applied for PRRA ?

I was on visitor visa when applied for work permit through same lawyer, then after applied for PR under H&C, no job letter (applied for open work permit/TRP)

I know ...we heard a lot of stories here ...someone paid thousands and ended up changing the lawyer.
I'm lucky with the one I have too .thank god

We are from a country of (South Asia) but was settled in Dubai UAE (for over 20 years) then came to Canada on visitor status, last visited to home country was 15 years ago

you lived in canada for arround 15 years old with visitor status ? sorry i think that i didnt understand you, may you please clarify things to me more ?

Congrats sir but how someone can extend his visitor status during 15 years ? i also lived in gulf country before....in Bahrain

Maybe I didn`t explained well:

-Before come to Canada, we use to live/settled in a country which was not our home country
-We came to Canada in 2018 on visitor status
-I applied for work permit in Canada in February 2019 (approved in October 2020)
-We applied for PR under H&C in Canada in March 2019 (got AIP yesterday)
