I absolutely agree with you, if they noted anywhere on their website or on the form that you will never be able to bring your parents to the country where you immigrated, I would not have made the decision to settle here... but it's too late now... Im settled here paid 100s of thousands of dollars in taxes..... gained citizenship, and this is my home country. After 15 years of living in this country I give myself right to bring my biological parents here and enjoy same family rights like my fellow Canadians and other immigrants who have families here.. I also dont think it's fair that for certain countries they are allowing parents, grandparents, sisiters, brothers, and half siblings to immigrate here, in 6 months they have PRs in their hands, most of them dont work, they benefit from healthcare that I have contributed my taxes to... and other government benefits... They walk in streets, shop, laugh, and enjoy life (during regular work hours) with their immediate and extended family... and get free money from taxpayers while I work 10-hour shifts.... and they vacation to their home country where they claim refugee status from.... for holidays there will be 10-20 people celebrating together at the dinner table (if they bring grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, half-siblings, count how many adults there are and they likely have spouses and children).. while I have to sit alone with my daughter with no family in Canada....unfair and unjust...
