Guys any News of New NOC list under Fast Track?

My frnd applied in Middel of 2008 and the 38 FWS list launched in OCT2008, cic mentioned this list is applied from FEB onward.
He got a File Number.
Then

HE got rejection reason " Your NOC in not Under 38 List"

The reason for this rejection could be that his job roles did not match with those given by hrsdc in their site. it should not match exactly but need to more or less match the job descriptions.

But When he did apply ,that time the new list is not published.

Yes I heard this from a number of people, that’s why I have decided to keep my application on hold till the new list published, cuz u can prepare your application according to new rules later but once it get rejected you just cant amend it.

You might be waiting awhile for the new list. If you read the Parliamentary Committee on Immigration http://tinyurl.com/2bxyl67 You will note that CIC doesn't report back to the committee until 30/09/10 about the "RECOMMENDATION 2

That Citizenship and Immigration Canada identify specific objectives by 30 September 2010 for the next ministerial instructions issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Thanks for this PMM it is then clear that they are not going to change this at least until sept 2010

Expect the new list by November/December, not before. It takes time to get all this information approved internally by the government.
