Naa yaaar, thayi gayu hoat toa apde badha sathey chai pita hoat weekend maa toronto maa, apda koi bev maathi ekna ghare (sorry 3 maathi arey Pareshbhai pan chhe) hahahaha! Su bolavsoke nahi chai piva!! transfer date April 2010 chhe, in process toa november 2010 thi continue chhe, eni pehla aamto mari 2vaar inprocess haatu september 2010 maa pachhi RBVO thayi gayelu.
Mari bfd october 2011 chhe as per caips note, joiye su thay chhe.

Hey Ommbhai,

I have a question, as i am on h1 over here today some one came in person to my office from some addmin.. agency (well i was not in the office ) and then he left but called latter in the afternoon and the lady on front desk answered the questons that yes he works here and his salary is this much and all kind of stuff. well my question is that will it be from USICS(homeland) or from canada i am very confused b'cas lady did not ask where he was from.

Do they do background check personally or by phone or it might be really USICS as i just got my 3rd extention for h1b.

Any idea on this topic.

Might be USCIS ...now a days USCIS official checking personally.......couple of my friends experience same......
r u employed directly or consultant......?

Well i am employed directly from the company no contract nothing like that, do this people creat any problems furhter or just an casual checking from the department, like do they have any problem with me b'caus there are more people in the company who are on h1b like 3 more why not them and only me.

Hey guys,

I think today is my bad day i had ordered (second time ) CAIPS on 12th July and got reply today and there is no change at all every thing same as it was before BFD 06/24/2011, so there was no point of ordering CAIPS secound time b'cas there is no change in 1st or 2nd so what should i understand that this office has never started any process on my application or the CAIPS are giving false information.

and today i got verfication from USICS every thing went smooth by i was not in the office i dont know if that is a problem, he questioned my manager and she ans. every thing.

(MY TIMELINE IS UP TO DATE )
anyone has any idea for this topic.

anuj USCIS people checking so much non-immigrants and immigrants who newly married. my on friend in chicago he have 7months old baby girl and his family GC is expiered and now he applied and get the extensions but USCIS agency person visit his home personaly to check both are staying under one roof?
even now a days 70% employement verification is done for those who work for consulting companies, i don't belive before but in 2008 from my relative was on h1b and agency came to check his enployement at his consulting company office.
so, it's from USCIS. CIC Canada never check it even they don;t need your w2 or employment verification from USA, just they verify your current residence status.

THANK YOU REPLY KAR VA MATE BUT WHY THIS HAPPENED I ORDERED CAIPS SECOUND TIME AND HE TOLD ME IT WILL TAKE 6 WEEKS FOR THE REPLY ANY I JUST E-MAILED HIM ASKING ABOUT THE PROGRESS AND HE TOLD ME THAT OH YA REPLY IS HERE AND THERE IS NO CHANGE IT IS SAME AS IT WAS BEFORE MY BFD WAS 06/24/2011 AND I GOT REPLY WITHIN 1 MONTH, SO THE POINT IS THAT THIS CAIPS GUY IS NOT PLAYING WITH ME MIGHT BE HE JUST SEND ME THE SAME COPY WHICH IT WAS BEFORE AS I DID NOT PAY HIM FOR THE 2ND TIME WHAT SHOULD I DO.

DID CIC REALLY DID NOT DO ANYTHING ON MY APPLICATION

AND ANOTHER THING I HAD UPDATED MY PASSPORT INFORMATION WHICH HAS NOT CHANGED IN THE CAIPS AND WHICH THE GUY WHO ORDERED IT FOR ME DID NOT KNOW ABOUT I HAD E-MAILED SCANNED COPY TO CIC AS THEY TOLD ME .

ANY IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON .

it's looks like VO not touch you application or no more update made on your application.

how many months ago you ordered CAIPS not?

you have to pay fees in advance for caips to caips order agencies.

about passport update once VO will look again it will updated, don't worry about that updation, I seen some cases VO update passport details at security clearance time i.e. after medical.
good practice to inform VO for your status updation like employement, divorce/marriage , new born baby etc.
try to get CAIPS after some months & wait for more update on e-case, otherwise send email to VO.
we can't do more in this case if VO not touch your file or no more comments on your file by VO.

OK I SEND MY 2ND REQUEST ON 12TH JULY AND GOT REPLY YESTERDAY AND THE CAIPS AGENT TOLD ME THAT YOU DONT NEED TO PAY ME AGAIN AS THERE WAS NOTHING HAPPEND IN 1ST REQUEST SO DID NOT PAY HIM 2ND TIME. BUT IS THIS POSSIBLE NO MORE BFDATE AND NO UPDATE I E-MAILED CIC AND SAME TYPO REPLY YOU ARE IN LINE FOR ASSESMENT WHICH CAN TAKE 64 WEEKS.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT NOW THIS IS GETING CONFUSING.

Strange about fees, for second CAIPS note they charge fees (give you $10 off in that) if you applied from same person.
your new CAIPS note have the Date on bottom on which date printed in CIC. whats that?
if it's new date on 2nd CAIPS note than it's new CAIPS note with no update by VO.
if it's same date which printed on 1st caips note you issued than it's not new caips not.
Caips note have current date and time printed on most of all pages , some time this date printed on last pages only. but it's should be the CAIPS note date issued by CIC to your caips person.
mostly this date printed on right top side on page.

here is the sample of CAIPS issue date by CIC on my FOSS page:
