Hi,
I am a new member in this forum and have read some of the interesting threads on this forum to get an insight about Canadian student visa and to find a solution to my query but was not able to find a proper answer. I will be glad if the experienced members can guide me or direct me to the right thread.
We are a family of three - me, my wife and my 4 year old son. We would like to move to Canada. We would like to go on a student visa in which my wife can study and I can work.
My wife has a study gap of 19 years from her last full time education. I saw that there is a person in this forum who got student visa after 17 years of gap. So we are keeping our hope. We will look for a degree in Child Psychology of Special Education as it is relevant to us. I will be glad if someone can answer my following questions:
1. She did her 2 months certificate course in French in 2016. Will that qualify as the last full time education?
2. Once she gets a student visa, can I go on a dependent visa with her and work full time in Canada?
3. Our son has Down's Syndrome because of which we may have issue in getting the PR. Can my wife get a student visa in-spite of this medical condition of my son and we two (me & my son) can go as dependents on her?
Son's treatment is going on from US and he is doing quite well. We won't have much dependency on the medical system for his treatment per say for Down Syndrome.
Thanks for the guidance.
Cheers !
