since im sure your not earning more income!!!!Yes you suppose to recieve GST/HST around $90+ also and there is 2 more that you suppose to recieve the OSTC and OSTTB those are free money from the government.you will recieve GST/HST every 3 months. and the OSTC is from August, November and February (every 3 mos.also) around $60+ and then the last is OSTTB every 6 mos. June 2011, Dec. and June 2012, if you are single they will give you $100 for OSTTB if you file your tax refund and you got direct deposit from them its automatically you'll get those in your bank account it say there CANADA PRO.
who did your last income tax? next time if you do your income tax apply all the benefits.

GST/HST refund is not automatic. When you file for your income tax there is a box at the bottom that asks you if you wish to apply for GST/HST credit. You can find it at the bottom of the T1 Income tax form.

Not everybody receives it though. There is an income treshold. If you earn too much you don't get any GST/HST credit. Since you said you are a live-in caregiver you should still be able to receive some amount. You can still apply for GST/HST credit for 2010. Contact your local tax center or CRA, you just have to send them the form T1-Adjustment Request.

call CRA 1-800-959-1953, and tell the agent you've never received GST/HST.
if you are in ON and you didn't received OSTTB, call 1-877-627-6645.

Coz sometimes, they send a mail to us to ask for further information to determine the amount of GST/HST or OSTTB.

I got these kinds of the mails every year to ask for my husband's foreign income.

She never received it because she never applied for it. CRA can't calculate your GST/HST unless you send them the form T1-Adjustments. You only call those numbers if the money was not deposited and you applied for it. Download the forms now online and send them to your local tax office.

OSTTB is the Ontario Sales Tax Benefit. Please read:

If you live in Ontario, you might be eligible for this.

If HR Block did your taxes you might have a higher income that's why you never qualified for it, they normally apply for it.. Meaning they did submit a request for GST/HST credit but since your salary is high you will not receive any amount. If in doubt, you can calculate if you are eligible by using the charts in the link I provided:
