Hi! to all!,
At last my ecas change today to Recevied by visa office from Eligibility review completed. Here's my timeline:
Sent application to NS - Feb.26, 2009
Application received - March 3, 2009
AOR letter dated - March 17, 2009
CIC-NS still instrcuted me to submit my file to Buffalo even though I declared my status here in USA as out of status so as per my lawyer we don't have a choice but to follow that.
Submitted File to Buffalo, NY - June 5, 2009
Letter fr. Buffalo requesting proof of status in US - received on June 16, 2009.
On June 26, my lawyer send a letter to CIC-NS and Buffalo and CC Manila to request my file to be transfer to Manila as this is my home country. My lawyer is very confident that they will process the request as my reason is valid.
We transferred your application to the Manila office on September 24, 2009. The Manila office may contact you.
We transferred your application to the Manila office on October 8, 2009. The Manila office may contact you.
I heard a lot of stories here that there's no way that visa office will transfer file to another visa office so they decided to withdraw their file and start all over again. For me I prepared myself to be patient as I know the waiting is excruciating, frustrating and all kinds of silly words but it's all worth it. I waited for more than 120 days to received this news and it's so uplifting. For you guys that who have valid reason and want to transfer your file to your home country, go for it.
I have great confidence and trust with my lawyer and in case you decided to hire one my only suggestion is be honest from the very beginning. My NOC is 1111 - accountant. Goodluck to all!
