In nutshell,

you can grab a job from job bank from other countries without compromising anything but chances are 1%

you can grab a job from job bank from other countries with compromising everything and paying them chances are few %

If you are not in rush go check occupation demand in SINP. If your occupation is in list and if you can cover 60 points out of 100, you don't need employer or anyone and can directly get SINP.

LMIAs go to cooks etc because most Canadians choose not to do these jobs. Also LMIAs require employers to pay the same wage to a foreign worker that they would pay a Canadian. Yes, I know some employers are unscrupulous and do not do this but that's another issue.

Anyways I don't want to keep going back and forth and I feel that we have veered far off track. I commented on this thread because people were saying jobbank was fake. While it may be difficult to get a job through jobbank saying it is fake is not honest and may certainly mislead people who are not familiar with the different issues.
Nope, it is beacuase most PR and Canadians do not choose to do that job for the offered Money. (on one side they require several years of experience and on the other hand they offer just minimum of the legal wage).
So those that are longer on the market rather search for a bit better offer.

Jobbank as such is rather a big failure.
What it suppose to do is not doing (that is bringing job offers to possible applicants).
Instead of that it is used as a cheap way how to fullfill LMIA criteria.

What's the scope of Digital Marketing field ? Immigration is given to applicants that Canada falls short off and has a demand for. Have read and researched a lot, Digital Marketing is not HUGE there yet. Was planning to apply through FSWP now thinking of British Columbia PNP as BC has more digital jobs. What is your suggestion ?

One province could have one company and one job opening that you're the best for.

Another province could have 5000 companies with 20,000 job openings and none of them are best for you.

If you get pr without PNP you're completely free to move provinces until you find your job.

Employers are turned off from hiring foreigners regardless of the site on which they advertise so it's not a jobbank issue at all.

You don't have to register on job bank in order to search for jobs on the site.

I understand that some people have an issue with the government prioritizing Canadians and PRs for jobs but I don't see why that should be. If local talent exists, then by all means, they should be given preference.

Job bank is not the only advertising employers are required to do in order to offer a job to a foreigner, so making it free is actually a benefit to the employer and foreign worker because it makes the overall process cheaper and there's nothing wrong with that.
Which is what I originally thought was available through the job bank. Half of them (+ all govt jobs) require you to be a Canadian citizen or a PR). I have applied to many jobs through the job bank.. Haven't had any luck with its a different story. So donno what the success rate of getting a job through might be...

Exactly, some companies actually helps to get LMIA on their own expenses for highly skilled posts like research scientist but others are greedy employers who just want to make money and get free labor. They will ask around $15000 or more for LMIA and they know you have to work there one year or less depending upon your exp to get eligible in EE. They will get practically free labor by paying you minimum wage which is around 1700 monthly. for six months they get free labor and you will lick them until you get PR.

I know a friend who is Canadian registered pharmacist and he could not figure out anything for PR and got LMIA by paying $15000 and working at pizza store since 10 months now.

Canada says they want to immigrate skilled immigrant ! This how by forcing someone to work $12 when he could actually get $50??

Some families and people are non skilled, barely speaks English and have PR. and other skilled , international students begs for it.
It is illegal for an potential employer to ask a potential employee to pay for the LMIA. People must not allow themselves to be taken advantage of regardless of how badly they want to come to Canada.

I would say not good. Despite your experience, you are not familiar with the banking industry in Canada and that will make it difficult to get a job here. Also, I don't think this field is one that has any shortages (not certain though)
