You have submit paper-based? i thought online will be faster. did your pp have been request? how long it took them to put stamp?

no passport request everything submitted along all documents on 5th may . I think it took 2 days from their side to stamp it . becz on 7th evng iI received email ,,ur passport has been dispatched

that was great. So I think submitting passport upon submission is better and taking medical exam is advisable. Btw, how did you go to the medical exam, didnt they ask you of something?

You medical was alredy in VO when you applied. It helps a lot. Nobody knows how long it could take to evaluate your med test and then send it to VO. So if you apply too soon after taking med test your file could wait for weeks to receive your med results.

Did you have a UCI number at the time you applied?

Unique Candidate Identifier (UCI) this has been provided to me when I applied for offer letter 2-3 months back in feb . I think embassy has not any kind of role in this UCI . This is provided by college or uni to directly to their admitted student .

This abbreviation stands for Unique client identification number, and it is given to you after you file a case with the CIC. It remains the same when you apply for a different visa in the future.

Good question! If , for any reason, you already have an immigration file with CIC your new application could be processed in a couple of days.

ohh good !!!! that makes sense they will take less time to process in case if i have to apply for extenstion or other thing under CIC .
