I'm from the Philippines and I'm applying under the Live-in caregiver program.

I'm done with my medical exam last May 22, 2010.. and also I already sent my passport last May 20, 2010..

How long do I have to wait for my visa approval?

Is there a big possibility that it'll be approved?

Do I need to follow it up? where? what site?

I really hope someone could answer my inquiries very soon..

Bisu, I got the visa the same day within 2 hours. My Visa office was Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Congrats! I'm also from Kuala Lumpur - and applying with the same NOC 0213.

Thanks for sharing. Wow - pretty quick that you got your visa - I'm about to send my docs to the Visa Office - just waiting for my Uni transcripts. I guess once you get your passport requested - that's a sign you'll get your visa ?

I have one question for u

I would be very thankful for ur reply

My passport is valid for 8 months and 10 days

Whereas in PPR letter it was mentioned that passport should be valid for one year from the date of medical

But my passport is valid for 11 months and 24 days from the date of medical and even i have sent it to CHC

yesterday by DHL. It means it is short of 6 days.

Bcoz it was not possible for me to get new passport within specified time given by them as all machine

readable passports come from Islamabad.

What u think they will notice it and return my passport or stamp my visa and ignore this ?

Advice would be appreciated
