I think its 19th june...he got acc details on 3rd july. transferred money on 5th july. Got GIC on 15th july
 
ur GIC certificate is sent to ur GIC account not to ur normal mail I made this mistake checking my mail all the time so suggesting others.
 
How much money did all of u transferred ...
Its 10100 in my case ...
I have heard that some are sending slight more to adjust intermidiate bank charges like 10120 or 10150
Please reply asap ...
 
@ Sparky_dave..dont worry this is really not a concern, 10100 is the amount which needs to be transferred..and i guess u transferred cad 10100, so thats fine..have you got your certificate or any response from scotiabank yet? i sent them another follow up email, but rather replying they are ignoring it..no reply at all..
 
i think ppl who are not getting their gic is cuz they havent transferred money from the account which is on their name. for GIC it is mandatory to send cash from account which is on the students name...

it is not necessary to transfer from student account for GIC many got their GIC transfer from others Account.
 
Yes, Guy's , my mistake, I applied on 19 June not july received account details on 3rd July, transferred money on 5th July and got GIC certificate on 15 July. And I transferred only 10,100 CAD From my own account.
 
Applied for gic account on 8 july but still no a/C details

apllied on 8 july bt still there is no reply by bank on my A/c details ,, can anyone help by yhere contact info , or anything else which will be useful

I have trnasferred money for gic on 9th july but i haven't got GIC certificate till now.....i have already send the Swift transfer receipt to their email also...but now response from their side till now.....Can anybody tell me how much time it will take to gic certificate....

i have done the wiretransfer on 16th july and have mailed them the swift report receipt....
please tell in how many days will i receive the gic certificate?????

for those who are waiting for gic certificate after payment from which mail should we contact them through personal mail or mail isued by scotia bank
