Got Rejection for Visa with the reason stating below---------------2

Hi All,

I applied for the Visa to canada under Student visa for my MSc(Computers) with support from the Prof. in Manitoba university and the visa officer has refused the letter with the reason stating that " Proposed program not reasonable in light with the past studies"

I am working in a top MNC in india for past 3 years.

The for above seems to be due to the fact that I am already Masters (MCA) so the the embassy might have rejected the Visa.

Also I haven't paid any FEE to the university as I have got a mail from the university stating that I will not be able to pay the FEE until they are not able to register me. This might be the reason for the refual.

After the refusal, i have asked the prof. and he have issued me a letter stating that the MCA is different from the MS(COMP SC)

Now can anybody please review my condition and let me know if this will help and also moreover, I am planning to write a SOP with clearly stating the reason why I chose BCA+MCA instead of BTECH as I was not able to secure the seat in the preferred (prestigious) state university and then got through the enterance for securing seat in MCA and then took a 3 years experience before I apply for my masters.

But I have one doubt, Prof is willing to support me for PHD as well and he has mentioned in mail but university has selected me to MSc (But can highlight that in my SOP that I might plan to go for or convert this to PHD if department accepts.)

A Quick response will be much appreciated.
 
Hi,

I regret for ur visa rejection.first and foremost i recommend you to get the CAIPS notes and later decipher them to understand on what basis you have been rejected.there are multiple reasons to get rejected and hence the case officer collectively mentioned in the letter as "your proposed study is not in light to your previous education sector".

2.the university can help you with another acceptance letter if you ask them to do.they dont interfere with high commission after point of process.hence its better that you get registered by paying the required money.atleast by doing this your application gets stronger and effective.
 
Hi Thanks for the valuable information but wanted to ask you normally how much time will obtaining CAIPS notes would take.

The reason i am asking is due to the fact that i am supposed to join in May intake and if they take much time then it will be difficult to join by that time

IMHO, The main reason for the refusal is that you already have a Masters and you were applying for another masters. To CHC this doesn't appear to be a progression in your education.
 
So will a strong SOP and a letter from university stating that the course which is intended now and the previous studies are not same as we are calling him for reserch

Hi there,

My humble suggestion to you is to deffer your offer to the next intake ie. from May to September.

Caips takes atleast 25-28 days min to reach your hands.

Sop's and your request will be thrown to thrash once it reaches CHC.Even if they look at them they hardly give it a glimse.so it doesnt matter whether to write a strong or feeble one.

I have experienced many people saying they have got visa by re-applying again post caips correction and getting visa several times.

even if you dont get it the next time try Aussie..simple..dont give your head too much into these silly things.

CHC does probability and random stuffs.

Canada is onyl one country but we got more than 50+ countries for better education than canada.

like i said in earlier post.College or university has only few parts to play on your application.they can only support you but they cannot fight for your visa.
 
But for Caips check does it take 1 month coz i somebody in canada wants to collect CAIPS on my behalf then how much time will it take
 
What about PhD ?
 
Dropped a mail to the Prof. and he has come back saying that he can assist me in PHD but department will have to provide approval and they will take there time, moreover it might be difficult as he said
 
Also if somebody can answer my query regrading CEGAP, i mean how much time will take for CEGAP if somebody on my behalf collect from CANADA
 
Nobody can collect it on your behalf.

Caips requests are processed by CIC in Ottawa, Canada.
Most file requests are processed and the files returned to us in approximately 5-6 weeks. Then the CAIPS people mail you in PDF format.4

Also one more thing, if i apply for my file from chennai, will this help now or the file will be sent back to same office where i applied first
