Well it seems you need something more.

They are always wary of people who have long careers and then apply for a relatively short course, they usually surmise that the person is applying for the program mainly to remain in Canada.

It doesn't help that it's not in your field either, they're wary of study programs which indicate a career change as well, makes the person seem less genuine.

I think you need to write a really good SOP indicating your thought process and intentions.

When I applied for the course I thought I was the oldest student in class. Turns out there were more ppl older than me who switched careers.
But anyway I'm thinking of checking the GCMS notes and maybe then write another SOP based on the remarks.
I'm pretty confident that my professors would write a strong letter mentioning about the kind of student that I'm.

My only concern at this moment is how long they would take to re-evaluate my profile again.
This almost took 6 months with a false AIP in between.

I had the same situation as you got refused 22nd October after Aip for September start and reapplied 7th November for January . I got approved 9th December. Was refused for not declaring previous US visa refusals

Yes, but that's going to take time, minimum 30 days to get the GCMS notes, then let's say another week or two to prepare your dossier to resubmit, then you don't know when you'll get an answer.

What do you do in the meantime? I guess you're continuing with the course without authorisation until you resubmit your application.

Your lawyer should give you some ideas on how to overcome this refusal.

You're lucky it's only one reason they raised, so i don't think your case is hopeless at all.

Your AIP seems to be one of those that were sent by error. The first indicator of this is that text below your name. That's one of the common things in the AIPs that were mistakenly sent. I'm pretty sure there was a follow up communication clarifying this error to you but my guess is, your lawyer received this and didn't update you or maybe the lawyer missed it altogether. The other comment in this thread about your profile and what you're attending as a study program is in line with normal reasons for refusal.
How do we know if it's an error or not? I got my AIP in August and haven't heard anything after that. I started my Sept. 2020 intake based on that AIP

Even I applied through a firm, in my AIP, the Indian address shown. I don't want to comment on this situation but it seems very odd. Maybe your's was an error AIP which was sent on Sept. 3 ? Where did you receive your AIP from Edmonton or Ottawa ?
I already had received GCMS notes before I got my AIP on Sep 3rd. It mentions
Primary Office: CPC EDMONTON
Secondary Office: CPC - OTTAWA

GCMS - https://ibb.co/tcDs3sR

GCMS Generated date Aug 28th. AIP- Sep 3rd.

So, The reason mentioned in the refusal is pretty generic saying that I won't leave CA. Why did they give me AIP in the first place? Also, MY DLI is way beyond the refund stage. IDK guys. Feel so dejected. I'm gonna reapply again. Anyone else in the same boat as me?
I have attached images for my AIP, Biometrics and Refusal letter. Both bio letter and refusal on same day.

Refusal - https://ibb.co/vdnFGM1
What was your course in 12th or after college. What were your grades ?

They have had simply refused your application to clear the backlogs without doing any proper assessment. I think they couldn't manage to contact and track all the error AIPs so they just flushed certain applications to cover their ineptitude. Your application was never reviewed fairly for eligibility, they had just simply framed you and had put a reason behind it to make it seem like you failed the eligibility. Now it's proven that CPC Ottawa is a third world organization in a first world country, second to Abu Dhabi.

I think you are right.. that's why its taking time for 3rd Sep AIP's, although complete files, not getting results.. because Edmonton sent the AIP in bulk using Bella, and now Ottawa giving refusal's... this is second refusal I saw today for 3rd Sep AIP.

CPC Edmonton committed a crime against humanity by not honouring AIPs and by sending error AIPs in massive quantities in a short span of time. Now CPC Ottawa is covering their tracks. Reminds me of the British rule during the colonial era, are we still living in the 21st century ?

So what are my chances if I reapply again? Right now they have only mentioned one reason for refusing my application.
Reason - I won't leave Canada.

I do not have any family ties in CA.
Already provided a conditional job offer in my home country.
My wife and kids are here. Didn't apply for spouse and kids. Just my application alone.
Showed property details and affiliated those from notary.
