Hi kashif24,

Thanks a ton for the Info. Will keep updated on file number. I hope the interview is waived off :)

Thanks Again.

@Thomas,

Knowledge of french Language is not the only criteria for waiver of interview , they are considering other factors too in order to waive your interview. As far as I know rarely HK office is waiving the interview for its applicants. I sent them my DELF B1 certificate when I filled my application and Also I had completed my school in a Francophone High school so it is clear if french was the only criteria for waiver of interview they would have done it but unfortunately they didn't. So what now? now! nothing Study french as hard as possible because Knowledge of french is a good way of adding your points.

Best of luck .

Hi,
Since i applied on March 17th, when can i expect a call for interview. How often the interviews are conducted in India? what questions are usually asked and will be be completely in french? Am not very fluent still under learning process still.

Thanks Again
Thomas

@Thomas,

Since now a days the load of applications have exploded you can expect your interview somewhere in the month of October or November 2011.

If you go through the different thread related to interview and french language you would understand that that more than 70% of the interview will be conducted in french ...don't worry you keep your confidence high ...study french as much as possible prepare yourself for the interview question and work it out with your french teacher once you are called for interview. You have long way to go. The questions in the interview would be about your studies, work experience, knowledge of Quebec and Canada etc...I think you better go through some threads in this forum you will gain more knowledge of everything.

Good luck

Hello

After AOR at least 6-8 months, but try to improve your French on the mean time.

Thanks

Thanks for the Info. I will prepare well for french, will go through the threads and browse more on net. So what happens once you clear the interview? how long it takes to get your visa stamped?.

Thanks Again, you have been of great help.

Have they told you they will take an interview??? How many points did you have when you applied??

@kashif
They haven't communicated the interview timings yet. I had 59 points without adaptability when I filled my application with BIQ HK. I am married so I need Minimum of 57 points without adaptability to be qualified for QSW immigration. I am getting My DELF B2 next month so I expect 4 more points.

Thats cool quebec2011 don't worry probably you will not require an interview they might have a dilemma whether to take one. Hope it gets waived off for you or if there is one it comes soon.
All the best :D

Hello

I don't think so this is the reason for interview waiver,they do interview to check people French ability, plans to survive etc. I am scoring 69 points without adaptability, need 63 with adaptability to qualify for csq. But let's see what happened.

Thanks

@stillhope,

No I don't expect any interview waiver infact if there was any I would have already gotten My CSQ , so this says that I will be called to interview. Anyhow I always hope for the best.

Have you got you AOR?
