If you are good you will get the job soon.Hello,
I would be a single lady moving to Canada this October. any heads up/tips for Immigration!
Curious to learn more about
1. Accommodation search : are the rooms available on Kijiji safe for single ladies?
2. Job search : of course there is struggle for initial months, any tips of getting a job from the Home country?
any other single lady out there who are immigrating like me ? would be great to discuss !!
For engineer, most likely they will ask you to do some technical homework first, which I assume you will be able to do it yourself. After that, there will be an interview which will discuss further about the homework and some more in-depth technical question and working attitude, which I assume you already know what you are doing. Finally, the offer letter.
The above is base on assumption that you apply for the job that you are confident with. That the key for job hunting. Don't even bother to apply for the job that you are not sure about, because they are also not sure about hiring you.
One things you can prepare before landing is reading indeed job requirements and make sure you can match 90% of your skills to the job that you want to apply for. If not, please take some class or study by yourself. Over here, there is little to no such thing like "they will train you after they hire you"
