Got PPR - VO confusion

I got PPR yesterday and I have some questions for next steps.

When I applied I was living in the US, but now I live in Indonesia. I've read that I should both e-mail CIC and raise a webform to say that I'm in a different country? How do I raise a webform to do that? And then how do I confirm that the CIC received the webform?

Also, I am currently visiting Jakarta, the capital city, where the Canadian embassy/visa office is. Do I need to send my passport to the VO or can I just walk in and give it to them? For example, for those applicants who were already living in New Delhi, did you just walk into NDVO or did you still need to use VFS services?

Thank you!

You should have updated IRCC as soon as you moved. Google Webform.

No, you can't take your passport in person.

I'm worried about the same scenario whenever I get the PPR. I've submitted multiple webforms for address change and never received any acknowledgement. Also, every time I called IRCC they only had my old address on my file. It felt like they intentionally ignore address changes.. so what can be done in that case when PPR arrives?

Next time you give them a call ask them to change it for you. They have the authority to directly mail the VO and ask for change in your file.
I did that back in June and I received a reply back from CPC-O within 3 days

Hi, did you receive the PPR in your email? with PDF ?

I just want to make to sure, how CIC is communicating for PPR.

Thank you in advance!

I got PPR through my e-mail - I think everyone gets it through their e-mail. The subject title should be "Ready for Visa." Make sure that your e-mail filters don't label PPR as spam - I've read a few threads where people have been late in completing COPR because their PPR e-mail was in the spam folder and they didn't see it!

Question - I'm having trouble contacting CIC to change my address because they only allow people to call if it looks like they're calling from Canada. There have been a few threads saying I should use the TextNow app to get a Canadian number, but TextNow only seems to work if you are in the US or Canada. For those who are not in those 2 countries, how have you been changing your number to call the CIC?

Create WebForm to change your mailing address. I am an inland applicant so I am still able to contact CIC using the phone#.
