If we want to deliver the child in Canada, should we inform CIC about the pregnancy or not? We are in the first trimester of pregnancy.

You can either inform IRCC now, complete soft landing n come back to India for delivery OR you can have delivery in Canada.
Other option is you can inform IRCC about pregnancy and you can choose to include your child in the application after birth. iRCC will ask for documents like birth certificate, passport n medical exam etc for the child. Once approved all 3 of you can come here together.

But if the child is born outside Canada, family sponsorship is the only route for which one of the parents have to be in Canada through out the process.
Thanks for the prompt reply buddy. Can you plz share your experience what option should we opt for?

Challenges in delivering a baby in Canada for a new immigrant.
Provincial health insurance may not start immediately (depending upon the province) and then medical charges for the mother and the baby may have to be paid out of pocket. Ontario starts after 3 months.
There is no support from grandparents/family/friends.
Finding work/paying bills/settlement issues on top of taking care of pregnant wife/infant can be very tough.
