Then go ahead and submit your passport as PPR are generated on primary applicants name only. what number did you contact CIC on ? And when you mailed them how much time did they take to reply back ? if you can share this info. Thanks
Got Passport Request - Spouse name not mentioned anywhere

The Cic number is 1 (888) 242-2100
And I mAil CPC on 25th April and they replied me on 26th one day after . But the thing is they never asked for the medical of my spouse . Can this be possible as she applied for student visa last year but go rejected and they might have used her last year medical result . And they never asked for any additional details .
Medical is mandatory for spouse. They would not issue residency without medical. They would be asking for you r spouse medical then. What does your status in your file show single or married ? if single then you have to notify them about your spouse and situation you are in.
I asked Cic they said it shows single there . That was 2 weeks ago . I already informed Cic on 14th of March about my marriage .
But Cic told me to mail them . And I did and Ottawa officer replied me to submit the passport .

Even I am waiting on this I have already submitted my spouse docs on 11th march just waiting on medical request rest everything is up tp date from my end. so yeah buddy need to wait. We both in same shoes.
you can submit your passport and get it stamped that does not have any negetive effect on anything but your COPR will state you single so when they send you another PPR that will have your status as married and your spouse included in it as your dependent.yeah thats the thing. But some say if u submit ur passport and they stamp it then I have to send it back to cancel it as I am married and me and my spouse can get PR together not separately . Did u get ur passport stamped ?
I have my passport stamped. The thing is they stamp it and you atleast have a stamp on your passport and when you recieve another PPR then you send your passport and the COPR letter along with your spouse passport. Their main thing is to change the COPR as it will state you single if you get it stamped now. Later when you send it they will change it to married adding your spouse name to your dependent field. They do cancle anything they just reissue you your COPR. So not to worry about anything. I would say atleast get it stamped. Rest you can decide I have provided you the details.
Ok I will do that . But the thing is my work permit is also getting expired . And I can’t go to border for my landing without my wife . Am I right .
Landing with a single status in COPR when in fact you are married? No, you can’t.
No you cant with a single status when you have already mentioned that you are married. It dosent take much time hardly month or month and a half.
But do I still have to apply for my work permit after getting it stamped . Because my worpermit is getting expired on 20th June .
I also went to border to get work permit they said you have to inform Cic and Ottawa and u have to apply it online .
But sir can i get it stamped and then after stamping is there need for work permit extension if I don’t go for landing . Or should I wait and apply for work permit .
