You should respond via the same email saying you would like to accept the invitation then complete the forms.

I got the invite today as well (around 4 P.M. ET). The other threads re: OINP aren't as clear as I'd hoped. Let's get a clear answer in this thread so that everyone can benefit.

Thanks for trying to help but that doesn't make much sense, considering that I got a "notification" email from donotreply@cic.gc.ca along the lines of "hey check out your new message at the CIC Portal." And this is what the CIC Portal message reads:

"Dear MooseNBooze,
The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.

If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.

You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the CIC website. You will also find a link to Ontario's PNP requirements and contact information.

General information:
[yadda yadda yadda]"

The best resource I've found so far is at the ontarioimmigration dot ca website (the forum doesn't seem to allow posting links), where it says

"3. Apply to OINP under the Human Capital Priorities StreamRegister for EE

After you receive a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account, you have 45 days to apply to OINP under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
To apply, fill out the Nominee Application Form (see Section 4 for instructions on completing the form) and ensure that you have all the required supporting documents (see Section 3).
All applicants must indicate which federal immigration program they wish to be assessed against: FSWP or CEC.
OINP will assess your nomination according to the Human Capital Priorities Stream eligibility criteria. Your application will also be assessed to ensure you meet the FSWP or CEC criteria."

Now, what would be helpful is input from those who've been through this process in the past. Information about what the required supporting documents would be etc. I haven't gone about looking into any of those yet. I won't be able to get cracking for a few days, if not for a week. Meanwhile, I invite others to join the discussion and share their experiences with ON INP.

There is no need to do this.
The implication is to send the application directly to Ontario.
The process has already been outlined several times in the many threads about OINP here, or you can simply get the process in the Application Guide here: http://ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html

Hi guys,
I woke up today and saw an elusive email lying unread in my hotmail accounts which said that I need to check MyCIC account for a message. And when I did, the message started with line "The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry". Now since I've minimal understanding of Canadian PNP Programs, my question are:
1)Is this like I am accepted for being a part of the draw that Ontario will conduct deciding who gets the actual 'nomination' (read 600 Points in EE) within the set quota for this year:2015?
2)Do I have to pay 1500 right now or when sending application with all docs? Is there any fee after receiving ITA also?
3)So lets hope I do get 600 points and since I've no hope of getting through normal EE entry soon(CRS being less than 450), how long it takes till PR if I accept to follow this route?
4)And lastly, what are the points/things/document that carry max risk for rejection at a later stage for people who follow this route?

Thanks and I hope someone can enlighten me, maybe atleast a bit,
Cheers,
Guru

Here is how it works, after you receive PT from ontario, fill their nomination form, collect all documents listed in their checklist, make DD of 1500 cad and dispatch the package to ontario with 45 days of receiving PT.

Ontario will access your application based on what you sent them and if everything checks out, you will receive nomination within 90 days or so.

In subsequent draw, you will receive ITA from cic and than you wil need to fill the post ITA form in mycic, attach all documents listed in your checklist, pay processing fee and wait for cic to assess your file. If all works well, you will get PR. Note: you will have to pay rprf fees aswell.

1500+550+450 is fees you will have to pay for single applicant via ontario route.
