Anyone here who applied for NB PNP? Is it mandatory to provide birth certificate for dependents? And also, if you are in Canada do you need to show proof of funds?

Yes, birth certificate for dependents is mandatory.

You do not need to show proof of funds. See below: (extract from application guide)

You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
• you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada; or
• you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.
