Got my GCMS notes today :)

I received my GCMS notes today which I applied on July 17. It's a big PDF file that has 114 pages... I paid $5 for it as I am a Canadian resident. I believe you can get a short version for free.

These notes were generated on Aug. 10 and it shows Eligibility, criminality, medical have been passed. Security is blank but the IRCC agent confirmed that it's passed over the phone on Aug. 16. On the second page of the notes it has the following info:

Application Assignment
Assigned To: XXXX (officer ID)
Assigned By: XXXX
Due Day: 2017/09/09

Does this due day mean the officer needs to complete the final review by such day?

There's another option Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, which applies only to Canadian citizens, PRs, and residents. Then it will be free.

btw, for your reference, my app in ip2 in aug 2. Approved in Aug 15. PPR..???

Sorry, the group number is blank... thought that I had seen it somewhere.
You should be able to get your PPR soon... sometimes it takes a few weeks to receive it after it's been approved.

Are you still in IP1? My status turned into na2 on May 15, and I called CIC, and the agent told me that I passed eligibility and he cannot tell me if I passed criminality over the phone (?), so not sure if I also passed that or not. My GCMS notes will come on August 21, so, it means that the latest update will not be in the notes.

My question to you is, how is it possible for you to have passed eligibility and criminality (along with security) in IP1?

If the agent couldn't tell you, it's still probably still ongoing. For criminality and security, I believe officers make decisions based on police certificates from countries that you've lived for over 6 months. From the notes I can see that they also checked my records in USA. It's been a while since you called IRCC, I believe you will see a lot more info once you receive your notes. CEC with May AOR was a bit slow but I believe they are trying to complete the files soon. Good luck.

Thank you for the best wishes. But having criminality not completed yet seriously worries me. It would take them another 2 months probably until they finish criminality and security...

If the officer didn't have A35 A37 concern, it would be done in one day. Not sure how long it takes when they take further review.... But your AOR is on May 4 so it shouldn't take too much longer. I've seen people got their application approved for 3 weeks yet haven't received PPR yet...that'd be real frustration lol

What is A35 and A37? Also why would there be any concern about criminality? All my PCC have already been submitted upfront.

p.s. you could had saved a few bucks if you ordered under privacy act. and yes, you would had received all the details.
