With God's Blessings.....

I have got RPRF + Medical Request (just now) :D ;D.

I have read the instructions and it suggest to pay US or Canadian $ 490 for PA & Spouse.
In my application there are 3 members - Me, Spouse, my Kid. It does not ask to pay RPR Fees for my Kid (3 year old).

I have checked at http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/fees_frais_usd.aspx?lang=eng

PERMANENT RESIDENT FEES
=====================
SKILLED WORKER (including PROVINCIAL NOMINEES) - PRINCIPAL APPLICANT 550.00
BUSINESS IMMIGRANTS - PRINCIPAL APPLICANT 1,050.00
SPOUSE OR COMMON LAW PARTNER AND EACH DEPENDANT CHILD OF 22 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER 550.00
EACH DEPENDANT CHILD OF LESS THAN 22 YEARS OF AGE 150.00
RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE( TO BE PAID BY PRINCIPAL APPLICANT and SPOUSE /COMMON LAW PARTNER; NOT DEPENDANT CHILDREN ) 490.00

Regarding RPRF, I am confused.
Does that mean I do not need to pay RPRF for my kid? Can someone please confirm?

thanks....

Congrats for receiving MR and RPRF, I got both last month in which RPRF was mentioned to be paid CAD 980 since I was the principal applicant and my wife dependent. So, better ask seniors and check whether you have to pay CAD 490 or CAD 980 :-\

canada_dream100,

Which NOC? good luck with the rest of the process. you are minutes away from harboring the ship.

OMM

Hi Let me congratulate you first.

MR is for all the family members and RPRF is only for you and your wife in your case. You need to pay 490+490 = 980.

Thanks & Regards,

THANK YOU ALL for the Best Wishes!!!

Yes, true I was disappointed (but not panic) as I noticed most of applicant who have got 2nd AOR from Buffalo VO in April 2010, have got at least MR. As per list we have generated, I was the only who had not get MR with FSW1 & 2nd AOR in April 2010. So I was disappointed.

I was existed when I got the mail. And couple minutes later I was & am bit anxious as I already have planning about move to Canada. Leaving good job & going to new city (I should say new Country but I have moved couple of times with in USA, and I am feeling like I am just moving to another city as (hopefully) culture & social environment is same). But its trade off, I am in USA 6+ years and have not got my GC (PR) and living on work visa limits the choices & uncertainty; so I decided to opt for Canada, where I would be able to get Citizenship after 3 years of stay (depending on eligibility rules). So I am open for new struggles as well as for new opportunities.

Thanks for best your wishes & prayers.

If the applicant get MR with MR form . Do we need to fill up anything in the MR form (Section A : Client Identification and Summary) or anywhere else in the MR form?

thanks

You can follow the below thread to get some idea what you can expect/prepare for a Med exam... Follow the instructions send in your MR. Section A will be already done for you by the CHC and rest of the sections will be filled in by the DMP... Hope this helps
