First of all: Thank almighty god,
Today i received the medical request and the right of permanent residence fee by mail from Buffalo.
This is the first time i receive any correspondence from Buffalo by mail, all of their past letters were sent to me via email.
The letter is dated May 6, 2010 (the date is handwriting by the immigration officer) and has a barcode i do not know why, and is giving me 60 days to do the medicals.
This is my timeline:
Initial application to Nova Scotia: June 8, 2009
Received the approval letter from NS : August 19, 2009 (via email)
Sent full documnets to Buffalo: Sep 23, 2009
Received AOR from Buffalo : October 21, 2009 (via email)
Sent additional documents without their request on Feb 23, 2010 (related to work experience and police clearance upon reciept from the saudi embassy).
Got an email from Buffalo asking for an RCMP fingerprint on April 6, 2010 (Via email)
Proceeded same day to the digital fingerprint, and it was processed and sent to Buffalo by the RCMP the day after ( April 7, 2010).
May 3, 2010 e-case changed to "In Process" at Buffalo.
Sent additional documents without their request on May 5 (related to finishing 2 years of study in canada and updated proof of relative residence in Canada)"to get extra 5 points in that regard 2 years of study in Canada".
That is my e-case:
We received your application for permanent residence on June 8, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on August 19, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on August 25, 2009. The Buffalo office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 30, 2010.
By the way, My Buffalo file number, CIO file number, and Client ID number (on my study permit) are showing the same above information exactly as they were showing the same step by step since the beginning.
My application was not transfered to anywhere else.
NOC: 1111 - Accountant (Category 1)
International student in Canada since 2 years (Category 3)
By the way, i fall under FSW 1 and 3, i noticed that they have treated my application under FSW 1 because the immigration officer wrote FSW 1 (handwriting) on the letter, and it is written as well on the medical form in the space provided for my category (FSW 1).
There is a barcode sticker starts with B letter and some numbers attached to the top left side of the letter sent by Buffalo, i have no idea what does that barcode mean, and why did they attach it to the letter (how is it going to be used !).
Please pray for me.
Wish you all the best of luck.
