Except if OP doesn't use a representative ( usually someone you hire) then you don't have to send that one in. I didn't include it because I didn't use one and it didn't cause problems.

Hi shreecharan,

Also have the same concerns. I got married on the 3rd of this month. My husband moved to Canada yesterday and he plans to apply for me. I am really wondering what documents he will need to show that he can support me financially because he doesnt have a job yet.

Anyone with suggestions?

For Sponsorship category he will have to get the Option C print out from Canada Revenue Agency.

Call Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) at this number: 1 (800) 959-8281

And ask for the option C print out and they will send it the address within a week.

Yes, you need to include photos to prove that your relationship is genuine. The certificate alone is not enough. You also need to include other proof, such as cards, e-mails, rental agreements, etc.

Option C is a required document, so you must include it.

It is my understanding that for a married sponsorship application there is no minimum amount that you must earn to be allowed to sponsor, however the sponsor needs to show some stability and they agree to be financially responsible for the PA for the first 2/3 years of their life in Canada, so they are just ensuring that the Sponsor can provide that.
These are the sponsorship requirements, and as you can see, there is no particular amount of earnings necessary, just evidence that the sponsor will provide for their spouse if necessary as they do not want the Principal Applicant to be a burden on the system.
Sponsorship eligibility
In order to sponsor, you must…

be 18 years of age or older,
be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident,
be sponsoring a member of the Spouse or Common‑law Partner in Canada Class,
live in Canada and continue to live in Canada after the sponsored person obtains permanent resident status,
sign an agreement with your spouse or common‑law partner confirming that each of you understands your obligations and responsibilities,
sign an undertaking promising to provide for your spouse or common‑law partner’s basic requirements and, if applicable, those of his or her dependent children,
prove that you have sufficient income to provide basic requirements for your spouse or common‑law partner’s dependent children. To do this, you must provide documents showing your financial resources for the past 12 months. This requirement applies only when dependent children who have dependent children of their own are included on the application.

You may NOT sponsor if you…

signed an undertaking for a previous spouse or common‑law partner and three years have not elapsed since he or she became a permanent resident,
receive social assistance for a reason other than disability,
are in default of an undertaking, an immigration loan, a performance bond, or family support payments,

I'm not yet allowed to post links, but google search and read GUIDE 5289 VERY CAREFULLY

It answers many of your questions. Also be sure to look at the guide for your specific continent, there are extra forms tucked in there that may need to be filled out.

Note also that there is a Conditional Permanent Residency:

Information on Conditional Permanent Residence

As of October 25, 2012, CIC introduced amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. The amendments specify that spouses, common-law or conjugal partners who are in a relationship with their sponsor for two years or less and have no children in common with their sponsor at the time of the sponsorship application are subject to a period of conditional permanent residence. The condition requires the sponsored spouse or partner to cohabit in a conjugal relationship with their sponsor for a period of two years after the day on which they became a permanent resident. The conditional measure only applies to permanent residents whose applications are received on October 25, 2012, or after the day that the amendments come into force.
Examples

Condition applies if the couple:

is married for two years or less; or
dated for four years, but is married for two years or less; or
have been in a conjugal relationship for two years or less; or
has cohabited in a common-law relationship for two years or less; and
Do not have any children in common

Condition does not apply if the couple:

is married for more than two years; or
have been in a conjugal relationship for more than two years; or
has cohabited in a common-law relationship for more than two years; or
Have children in common.

Good luck!

I agree.

And yes, pictures are a must. Not just of the wedding but of you together, with friends, with family. Evidence that your marriage is legit.

I agree. Include as many pictures as you can from many different trips, celebrations, events etc. to show that you have spent a lot of time together and made many visits to each other. I even included a letter from my parents about their take on our relationship. Even though that was not required. There really, in my mind, isn't any such thing as too much proofs as far as the application goes. I've heard people sending 200+ pictures before. I wouldn't go overboard as they have many applications to review but include the amount you feel makes your relationship seem solid.

As far as I know there is no minimum income requirement for sponsoring your spouse. Anybody with any income(low, high, no income) can sponsor the spouse.Husband and wife should live together irrespective of their income.

But if your wife is on welfare she cannot sponsor you.But she can sponsor you once she stop receiving welfare.

Your financial condition or education is also not an issue. But if you are very skilled then I think it will be much fast.

Provide proof that you know each other before the marriage.Emails, phone bills, letters etc. That will help to prove its not a marriage of convenience. Before marriage proof is more important than after marriage proof.
