WES have more acceptance than icas.I dont know about their(wes) service but icas sucks.

Residence calculator will say you are eligible on Monday because you have 1095 days.But its clearly given on CIC website that you should sign your application only on 1096 or later. If you sign on Monday it will get rejected.Be careful.

I am not sure why CIC recently gave an image that the rule wont come into effect soon and implemented it so fast with less than one week notice.They should have given a reasonable notice period.Naturally people will start application preparation at least 1 month before.Not on the last week.Now...

The new rule is more strict.You have to satisfy 1460 days in 6 years and also 183 days each year for 4 years.You still have to keep track of all your trips. You will be eligible to apply on April 2017 only if you never went outside Canada in last 4 years.

You should sign only on 1096th day.If you are eligible on Monday send on Monday using fastest courier service.But if you are eligible only on Tuesday there is a risk.Talk to a courier service before you pay the fee.

Money is a big problem.Its $310 then other expenses(transportation, food etc).One more issue is test starts around 8:30 am and ends at 6pm.That's a whole day getting wasted. I am not sure why this dumb CIC cannot accept both.Its so frustrating.I think they want us to pay for both.

Working abroad after getting citizenship wont be a problem.We are free to live and work anywhere we wish.But when you apply for citizenship your intension should be to live in Canada after getting citizenship.Thats all.

Did you mean the difference between Basic residence and physical presence? Physical presence is when you are physically living in Canada(vacations days outside Canada wont count).But for Basic Residence vacation days outside Canada also will count.

If a Canadian citizen should live only in Canada then such a citizenship is a curse than a boon.Are we in jail?

If they already know the implementation date then why not publish it? Lot of us are in big trouble because of this uncertainty.We are not able to plan anything.

You wont loose your citizenship if you live outside of Canada after taking citizenship.You have full rights to live where ever you want to live as a Canadian.
