The problem I see is that even if the government didn't decide any dates but this date(19th June) might get their attention because almost everybody is ready and prepared to accept it. May be I am paranoid. :o

It depends on what benefits you get by taking Canadian citizenship alone in the family.If you are from third world country(me too) and make lot of international trips alone then take Canadian citizenship asap. Else apply together. At least you will save some time.Now you have to go through all...

If you have a child with her then the PR shouldn't be conditional. You can also apply for a new PR card once you are in Canada.Tell them you lost your old one.

Problem with conditional PR is you have to stay with your wife for 2 years.Or she can deport you. Conditional PR is for couples without children together. In your case you have a child with her.So its strange that you got conditional PR.Tell your lawyer about it.

If you first landed in Canada on March 29, 2013 then you have to wait long time(around 2 more years).New rule will be implemented by that time for sure. Ojeola came to Canada in 2010 as student. The date PR visa was issued is irrelevant.Only the date you landed will count as PR.

I got PR and landed on 9th Feb 2012.I am eligible by 26 June.I have 136 days absence.I think you have more absences then because you got PR before me.

Exact middle of a year is July 2nd (182.5).Not June.

I just wish they announce the date asap.I don't care that much whether I am in or out.But this waiting is horrible.

I think in old rule you will get 1/2 day for 1 day stay as visitor(in last 4 years).Only exception is time spent serving a sentence in Canada.

Are you sure she never returned to Canada without your knowledge?If she already did live in Canada then you cannot do any thing.You should complain only if you are 100% sure she is living outside Canada for more than 3 years. But what I understood is CIC don't care much about such...
