Hey guys just filling out the ITa now and just wondering I have been asked to upload no forms is that normal ? Just fill out generic history of work etc. lmia details they have not even ansked me to prvoode job letters?

I believe that step comes after you fill out all the details. First you fill everything out, then go on to the document checklist where it asks you to upload proofs.

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of filling documents and I have a question. My employer is in Ottawa and I am working in client location Toronto. Now, in intended location of employment and work history fields address , do I need to mention either employer address or my client(work) location ?

I've seen on the forum people suggesting different things. I documented every single stamp I had in my passport, including visits home when I was on a student visa in US. It just made sense for me. If it's in the passport, it should go in the travel history. Even if my travels overlapped, I still documented them. I didn't want to risk any problems by not listing every stamp in my passport.

Thanks! Not sure whether i'm happy or terrified. Lots of bad stories here, including yours. Sorry about that. I hope you either get a new ITA or get your application reopened. Such unfair system.

Depending on your age, you have to provide a timeline of your activities starting with the most current. You will get an error if there are any gaps between the dates provided.

Try and be specific. If you were unemployed provide a sentence explaining your situation, for example; Looking for work or vacation with family. The best way to do this would be to first write down on paper to make sure the dates match and the order is correct. It's easier that way than editing your entries on the form.

What would be the activity when a person has graduated (eg. 2010) and not working but has taken a vacation before starting work / study?

Thanks in advance.

You can say 'taking a break after graduation'.

Hi Friends,

What to fill in Travel History? I have been here in Canada since 2013 and I went to my back home ((India) for couple of times for vacation(5 weeks each time). Do we need to fill this information in Travel History?

Thanks.

You don't have to supply birth certificate for EE.

Generic list of documents: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Thanks Tocanadawego. That really takes off a huge burden.

Just one more query before I can actually fill EE profile:

My WES says,
At the Top: CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY Bachelor's degree (four years)

Below:
Credential: Bachelor of Technology
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)

Credential: Postgraduate Diploma in Management
Canadian Equivalency: Completion of a second undergraduate major
Remarks: The credential is not comparable to a completed Canadian education credential.

Do I qualify for two or more degrees/ diploma, the "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years" or ONLY Bachelo's Degree. Anybody who has similar education. PLEASE HELP.

Thanks and Ton.

It appears that you can choose 'Two or more...' option. But those remarks might get some VO to refuse you the additional points. Recommend that you send a mail to CIC/your local VO to confirm if you can choose that option based on this ECA report before proceeding further.

Thanks Asivad. Pretty confusing for me. I was reading on some other thread that for some IIM grads, they were given Master's by WES. Is it so inconsistent and left to whims of WES person evaluating !!

I am not sure how to contact CIC/ Local VO.. Can you please guide me on that (I will of-course google). What does Undergraduate Really means ... I tried searching and it throws Undergraduate as Bachelor's degree in Canada.
