Oh! yes I asked them the same question and they replied its upto to the VO n the Canadian Embassy

However, they are just the call center operators so its like a standard memorised answer. I am pretty sure they would'nt waste their time rethinking our case over and over.. may be Banglore off has some extenuating circumstance guess like shortage of staff due to festive season or something????

Anyways, max will be 30 - 40 days, just in case if it is quite a complicated one which wont be a scenario under a SPP category with crystal clear documents.

Under spp I have seen most of the times its within 5-10 days!
Lets all hope for the best !
We cant do anything other than wait.... In this forum I also heard more processing time means more chances of approval So let us take it that way!

cannot 30 to 40 day people who applied after 3rd december they will be out from jann intake than if such case ..

Also I read sumwer that they will mostly try to complete all files within 25th dec because the embassy is shut for christmas and new year !

Nope, Christmas holiday is just for two days 25th Xmas and 26th Boxing Day. They will defly work on 29th, 30th n 31st 2014. They may not rush to issue visas just for the holiday sake. Be cool!
