Got COPR last week , do i syill have to do landing, flag pole stuff.

i had interview with IRCC last week, they gave Me COPR paper , at that time i ask officer , do i still still have to do flagpole ? she said no , she said my PR card will come directly to my address.
i saw quiet a few threads which talks about landing and Flag poling stuff, can anybody sort out what is going on , aow i am confused?

You have already completed your landing. IRCC has implemented a new process for inland applicants who can land during an interview. Before this new process started, everyone had to exit Canada and re-enter in order to land. For current residents of Canada, the easiest way to do that was often the "flagpoling" process. Be thankful you don't have to do that : )

At least it helped that 90% of the Canadian population lives within 100mi of the border :D
