Got admission in concordia university. what to do next?

hey friends , i have got admission in M.ENG IN Electrical and Computer engineering in concordia university.This university in quebec so i have to apply for caq.SO Could anyone please tell me the procedure for caq?

first do u have the admission letter? if not u can setup a courier pick up service and u will get it in roughly 3 days ...if ur indian go to any DHL store and setup the courier service but before that get the address and name of contact person from concordia. once u have the admission letter apply for caq its a simple straight forward application.

I have received an email which states that I can apply for CAQ by using the PDF letter sent by them.In CAQ process, do I have to provide the embassy name where I will submit other documents for study permit?
It will be nice if u can give your number so we can discuss this?
When to pay tuition fees before or after CAQ?

Isn't a PDF copy of the LOA enough for applying for a visa? I just got mine yesterday and they have mentioned that particular document should be enough for study permit application purpose.

Yep. I got offer of admission for concordia too! And the attached pdf clearly states that international students need not wait for courier to arrive the pdf letter stands valid for visa application.

You will just need the color print out of your LOA to apply for your CAQ no need to wait for your original LOA to arrive and even if you have the original don't send it. Follow the online process to apply for CAQ. You will only need a passport size picture, your valid passport copy plus the declaration commitments and authorization form which you will receive after you have paid your process fees.

There is no need to pay tuition fees in advance for Concordia Uni.

There is a condition in my letter that I have to submit my official degree but I have'nt yet received my degree from my university as I have completed my graduation in June 2013.What should I do? I have provisional degree with me.could anyone please suggest me what should I do?

Do I also need GIC to apply under university category?

yes you can use your provisional degree.

And either you can show GIC or Loan.however GIC is preferable.

be careful guys there r cases where for CAQ they have requested original copies. check ur pdf copy if it has the deans signature or someones signature u may not need original but to be sure just check. concordia used to send 3 copies in mail 1 for CAQ one for visa and one ur copy.

do u have the official degree? can u get it attested from ur university? if so attach an attested copy of ur degree with ur application...did u contact concordia and asked what do they want exactly.....

hmm... well In my case I was only send two. One by email and one by post and both had the dean's sign on it. I applied for CAQ with the one send through email in November 2013 and received my CAQ in December 2013.

Hi Mead,

I too sent my degree copy in sealed University envelope and checked with concordia coordinator via emails . They are asking for original degree in order to get Unconditionaql letter .
