GRE is not required. Prepare strong Statement of Intent and get decent LOR from your past professors and you will get in.

I guess for sept Intake 2014 i am late.
I am planning for Masters in Information Security from Concordia University College of alberta. Its not a top ranked university. It used to be a college before, but is authorised by govt to grant degrees.

Does it really matter if one takes degree from High or Low ranked univ?? What i heard was that ultimately one has to search for job himself, and only skills + practical knowledge matter the most.

Last ques, what is the approx tuition fees for a masters course in Univ of Ottawa?
Any scholarships etc available?

For graduation ya reputation of a university matters. Scholarships shall be provided only for research based program. For fee visit their website it has everything. Lastly, you can apply for Jan intake.

hi everyone!
i have applied for MEng program at university of ottawa and for MSC program at university of calgary for fall-2014, here are my stats:

cgpa: 3.2 (till 7th semester from National University of Sciences and Technology -Pakistan)
IELTS: 7.0

what are chances in both the universities?
i also want some guidance . initially i applied for MEng Program at university of calgary, but later i got it changed to MSC. i did this because i wanted some funding, but always have been interested in MEng and want to work in some industry after masters.

you have a better chance with uOttawa IMO as calgary can be highly competitive and also for MASc they evaluate your profile in a rigorous manner.
