Got a weird email from Visa Office

Hi there,
I had send an email to New Delhi on April 2014 for any updates on my case and after couple of weeks I received an email for remed and ecas changed to In Process after doing remed then Ecas changed to Decision Made and which it says that the Visa office will reply back to us about Decision Made.

But today I got an email from New Delhi office after reading this I got really confused has anyone else got anything like this also when I send an email to them I had included all the information except my wife's Afghani passport. My question is if they don't have any information about my case on their file then how did we received a remed from their office. Here is what they send me and I am sorry I wrote too much.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Based on the information you have provided, we have not been able to find any record of an application in our client database, kindly include the applicant's full name, date of birth, passport number and file number in your message to facilitate us looking for your records.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

It's funny how they would respond to your April email now. But even more weird is that your case is practically finished. maybe they have sent your file to pakistan where the visa is being issued? that's probably why they don't find yours. But even if that's the case. It's pretty recent, they should still have your info. I still havent received anything from them after DM. hmm.. that is weird.

did your inquiry in april state the file number and stuff.?

The inquiry had everthing except passport number and also instead of file number I had her UCI number and also I am going to call Ndvo in the next hour lets see if they can help me.

I called them right now but unfortunately they can't do anything over the phone, I have to send them an email this is totally insane.

you know what you should do. call ur mp rep. just ask them to update you. don't say anything about the email. They are much faster in corresponding with the visa office. Plus they will tell you the same day hopefully

I think you are right probably that's the best way. I will see if I can get an appointment tomorrow with them for the Scarborough office. Thanks for replies.

Do write a fresh email to CIC to enquire about yr case status......... and yes !!! don't mention about the last inquiry which u hv sent earlier to CIC and the reply which CIC hv sent over to u................ Phone calls and meeting is the waste of time, write URGENT in yr subject and shoot an email immediately........Best of Luck

Do write a fresh email to CIC to enquire about yr case status......... and yes !!! don't mention about the last inquiry which u hv sent earlier to CIC and the reply which CIC hv sent over to u................ Phone calls and meeting is the waste of time, write URGENT in yr subject and shoot an email immediately........Best of Luck
